PLANETARY OVERLOAD – Mission Statement
The forthcoming releases from United Progressive Fraternity, dubbed ‘the most communicated albums ever made’, are an ambitious undertaking that unites the Fraternity in the recording of two CDs worth of material that will delve deeper into the environmental issues that we all face as a united world.
This albums will focus on the problems we are already beginning to encounter on a troubled planet and expected to face with increasing severity in the near future, and taking immediate positive action to mitigate those effects to ensure humanity’s survival.
Planetary Overload is expected to culminate in a series of exciting global musical events which will raise further awareness about the plight of our planet and what we can all do to help. 16 songs for CD1 ‘Loss’ and CD2 ‘Hope’ have already been identified. Significant progress has been made regarding development of lyrics, arrangements, vocalists, and musicians allocated for each track.
Our entire survival depends on what action humanity takes in the next few years, and the United Progressive Fraternity is striving to create the best communicated albums ever made. Thank you for your continuing and endearing support, fellow UP frat members! Truey X
SPECIAL GUESTS
Planetary Overload will feature a number of special international guests, among them including vocalists, songwriters, musicians, and arrangers. These guests will be spotlighted at regular intervals as their particular song arrangements and recordings are completed and documented for sharing with our fans. Each of the special guests will have their own bio page and photo, so you can learn more about their wonderful talents and accomplishments. We look forward to bringing you these amazing collaborations as the album is being recorded, to keep you ‘in the loop’ with this fantastic undertaking.

UPF has official permission to use the Title ‘Planetary Overload. Some of you may know that a book was written in 1993 called Planetary Overload by Professor Tony McMichael, who sadly died suddenly in September 2014. UPF has approached the publisher and obtained permission to use the title for the upcoming albums. About United Progressive Fraternity –
- The Message: To promote environmental and social awareness, directly relating to the state of Planet Earth and the human condition. The message is one of hope, highlighting that we can make a difference through the power of music. To inspire responsible stewardship of the earth through personal integrity, leadership, activism, and promotion of the message, partnership with eco-friendly companies, distribution of information and sustainable consumer habits (recycling, reusable items, clean energy adoption).
- Mission Statement: “To produce great music, as a collective concept, whilst conveying a message of peace, hope and global awareness”
- The Concept: To foster collaboration and shared ideas with other Musicians, Artists and Writers, and to encourage participation and association with the core band. Performing artists from all over the world have shown their support for the message by lending their talents to the projects of the United Progressive Fraternity. Touring the message with eco-friendly sponsorships will further enhance the message in the form of live musical concert performances, a form of outreach event.
