PLANETARY OVERLOAD \u2013 Mission Statement<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The forthcoming releases from United Progressive Fraternity, dubbed ‘the most communicated albums ever made\u2019, are an ambitious undertaking that unites the Fraternity in the recording of two CDs worth of material that will delve deeper into the environmental issues that we all face as a united world.<\/span><\/p>\n

This albums will focus on the problems we are already beginning to encounter on a troubled planet and expected to face with increasing severity in the near future, and taking immediate positive action to mitigate those effects to ensure humanity\u2019s survival.<\/span><\/p>\n

Planetary Overload is expected to culminate in a series of exciting global musical events which will raise further awareness about the plight of our planet and what we can all do to help. 16 songs for CD1 \u2018Loss\u2019 and CD2 \u2018Hope\u2019 have already been identified. Significant progress has been made regarding development of lyrics, arrangements, vocalists, and musicians allocated for each track.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our entire survival depends on what action humanity takes in the next few years, and the United Progressive Fraternity is striving to create the best communicated albums ever made. Thank you for your continuing and endearing support, fellow UP frat members! Truey X<\/span><\/p>\n

SPECIAL GUESTS\"Dr.<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Planetary Overload will feature a number of special international guests<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, among them including vocalists, songwriters, musicians, and arrangers. These guests will be spotlighted at regular intervals as their particular song arrangements and recordings are completed and documented for sharing with our fans. Each of the special guests will have their own bio page and photo, so you can learn more about their wonderful talents and accomplishments. We look forward to bringing you these amazing collaborations as the album is being recorded, to keep you \u2018in the loop\u2019 with this fantastic undertaking.<\/span><\/p>\n

The human species faces a new threat to its health–perhaps to its survival. Our burgeoning numbers, the spread of technology, and our conspicuous consumption are overloading Earth’s capacity to replenish and repair itself. Taking a unique perspective, Planetary Overload forcefully points out the consequences to human health of ongoing degradation of Earth’s ecosystems.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

UPF has official permission to use the Title ‘Planetary Overload. Some of you may know that a book was written in 1993 called Planetary Overload by Professor Tony McMichael, who sadly died suddenly in September 2014. UPF has approached the publisher and obtained permission to use the title for the upcoming albums. United Progressive Fraternity (UPF) is passionately committed to empowering change in the world by <\/span>leading an artistic & musical movement dedicated to sustainable environmental practices as our planet is <\/span>on the verge of collapse.<\/span><\/p>\n

UPF is supported by a growing collective of international artists, musicians, producers, promoters, etc.<\/span>who give freely of their time to support this critical mission to bring about a much needed change in our <\/span>troubled world.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe have said before that UPF isn\u2019t just about being a band and making music. More than this, it is what <\/span>the band and its music stand for \u2013 a message to humanity about our environment and how we can make <\/span>a change to save our distressed planet. You are there with us on this journey and that is why our concept <\/span>exists in the form that it does. The more people that are involved to help us, whether it be from a <\/span>musical, artistic, or a networking\/media, the better our success will be in this. Your commitment to our <\/span>cause is tremendously valued and we really appreciate all that you do. The message is one of hope, highlighting that we can make a <\/span>difference through the power of music. To inspire responsible stewardship of the earth through <\/span>personal integrity, leadership, activism, and promotion of the message, partnership with eco-friendly <\/span>companies, distribution of information and sustainable consumer habits (recycling, reusable items, <\/span>clean energy adoption).<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • Mission Statement<\/strong>: \u201cTo produce great music, as a collective concept, whilst conveying a message of <\/span>peace, hope and global awareness\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      • The Concept<\/strong>: To foster collaboration and shared ideas with other Musicians, Artists and Writers, and <\/span>to encourage participation and association with the core band. Performing artists from all over the <\/span>world have shown their support for the message by lending their talents to the projects of the United <\/span>Progressive Fraternity. Touring the message with eco-friendly sponsorships will further enhance the <\/span>message in the form of live musical concert performances, a form of outreach event.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
