United Progressive Fraternity Statement of Appreciation

Appreciation-messageTo all our friends, collaborators, representatives and fans

On behalf on Mark and the Management Team, we would like to take the time to say a huge thank you to all of you for your hard work and continuing support, particularly to all the musicians, producers and admin/media support from all parts of the globe who give your time and talents freely even though you have busy lives of your own.

We have said before that UPF isn’t just about being a band and making music. More than this, it is what the band and its music stand for – a message to humanity about our environment and how we can make a change to save our distressed planet. You are there with us on this journey and that is why our concept exists in the form that it does. The more people that are involved to help us, whether it be from a musical, artistic, or a networking/media, the better our success will be in this. Your commitment to our cause is tremendously valued and we really appreciate all that you do.

We still have much to do and we hope that you will continue to be with us on the way and that you continue to enjoy the trip! From the comments some of you have given us, we know that you do!
So thank you, thank you, thank you one and all!

Announcement: Planetary Overload – Loss and Hope

Hello All
Just an update on things….
We now have official permission to use the Title ‘Planetary Overload (some of you may know that a book was written in 1993 called Planetary Overload by Professor Tony McMichael, who sadly died suddenly last September so we had to approach the publisher to get permission) so the album looks like it will be called “Planetary Overload – Loss and Hope”. As it will be a double album, we envisage that the first disc will be Planetary Overload and will feature songs that reflect the [environmental] effects of that (‘Loss’), and the other disc will represent solutions and optimism (‘Hope’).

We will keep you posted!
cheers for now
